Cincinnati Police Department will host a
Citizens Police Academy for the Deaf and the Blind
March 28 – May 16, 2007
The sessions will meet every Wednesday. The first session on March 28 will start at 5:30p.m. and end at 9:00p.m. The following Wednesdays will begin at 6:00p.m and end 9:00p.m. An interpreter for the deaf will be provided.
Topics covered are Community Oriented Policing, Internal Investigation, Criminal Investigation Process, Mental Health Response Teams, Gangs, Use of Force, Domestic Violence, Drug Awareness, Recruit Selection Process, SWAT, and Personal Safety.
The session will be held at the Cincinnati Police Academy, Spinney Field Complex, 800 Evans Street, Cincinnati Ohio 45204.
